If access is granted the latitude and longitude of your current location are used to re-center the map for your convenience. Access to your geolocation is not used in any other way. All processing of your current location is done locally on your device, the only location data that is sent to the server and stored is the latitude and longitude that are selected from the map and previewed in the "Selected Coordinates" field.
